THE SALVAGES was founded in 2016 by Singapore-based entrepreneurial designer duo Nicolette Yip and Earn Chen.
The collection is influenced by the punk movement that began in the UK.
The store started as a store selling vintage items from collection brands such as Comme des Garçons, Yohji Yamamoto, Raf Simons, and Helmut Lang, and its customers included celebrities.
Later, the brand launched original items under the same name, collaborating with various bands influenced by Earn Chen and presenting collections tied to culture.
